Search occasionally showing no results

Searching occasionally showing no results for pages that are known to exist. Pushing a change that causes a sync to happen often resolves this issue. Would this eventually self resolve without having to push a change? How can this be prevented?
When it occurs the search results is simply empty, and the gitbook "spinner" just continuously spins - never showing results.

Hello @helloimalemur, what is your documentation site? We have recently improved our search UI in published content but the result could take time to be visible due to cache.
