Highlighting is overly complex

Probably it's the same in magit, but at least magit just imposes its own default highlighting, so you don't have to tweak anything. Otherwise, because neogit tries to use colors of my colorscheme that are already modified by me a certain way, it looks so bad, i literally can't look on my screen when using neogit. I'm forced to disable or change probably 70% percent of the highlighting. But even this takes a lot of time with little progress, because there is a highlight group for basically any possible situation.

Maybe it makes sense to add a default colorscheme for neogit as an option or something like this? For instance, by taking the same highlighting that is used in magit?
