Embed media or zipfile to spreadsheet

I can see there are already routines to cover embedding images (insertImage, insertBitmap) or drawings (MemoryDrawing) to a cell in a spreadsheet, but I cannot see any way to embed an arbitrary file type, such as mp3/video files or zipfiles. I need to add this programmatically, could some kind soul point me in the right direction please? :)
