See https://wiki.libsdl.org/CategorySensor. Its main use is to access the accelerometer and gyroscope on switch and ps4/5 controllers.

This is incredibly close to https://wiki.libsdl.org/CategoryJoystick , which is implemented here https://github.com/Rust-SDL2/rust-sdl2/blob/master/src/sdl2/joystick.rs for anyone interested.
