Update for the old version

Hello all,

I forked the repo almost 7 years ago (v0.8.0). Since active development and bug fixing have started again, I want to update my fork. However, I don’t think there is an easy way to do this. What would you suggest for updating my fork without losing the content, settings, etc., that I have created?

At some point #7 is going to be properly addressed - maybe a script of some sort? - but in the meantime it really depends on how extensive the changes you've made are in relation to the template. The goal is to keep the template separate from the content so you should be able to pull the updates and then just have to remote the examples from a couple directories. However, the about.md page is going to get overwritten which is where things get to be a bit tricky (and where a script might be useful).

Thanks for your answer. I searched but couldn't find the issue you mentioned :( I checked the #7 and the related ones and for now I think the best way to do it is to use this template option. I mean I even changed the syntax highlighting options, there are many more that I don't remember 😅 I decided to make a change till the v0.9 out, thanks!
