When I pick a serial setting, I cannot see whats already selected. Mouseover reveals it finally.
This only affects the linux version (Linux Mint), IDE 1.8.5

I would love to add a screenshot, but the screenshot tool does not work if a menu activated in a window.

I wonder if anyone has reported this to the Mint folks? Will they ever fix it?

Surely related, I'd close it as duplicate if there is no strong reason it needs to be an issue on it own
