This is on the check list for milestone 0.

2 of the 3 identifiers on here can be updated easily with metadata.json and Dockerfile changes.

However, the name of the current hub registry (labs-ai-tools-for-devs) is in a lot of urls we've given out. Can we rename this safely? In GitHub, you can rename registries and GitHub will keep redirecting to the right place. Do we have support for that?

Yes, if I recall correctly, I believe extensions have a flow for migrating such URLs

  • if we rename the extension, Docker AI will need to know the new name.

@slimslenderslacks More than that, it'll break the integration for the users who don't upgrade to a new cli

@ipedrazas @ColinMcNeil I'm still wondering about this one. We merged a change to update the Makefile the other day to call this docker/ai-tools but we need to resolve this first, right?
