Hey, thank you for this suggestion! I believe this is a great idea. Hope to implement it soon 😎 |
Just want to second this request |
Bumped, this feature would be very much appreciated |
Hey everyone, thank you for sharing your interest on this! I am very interested to know more about the solutions this functionality can solve, mostly because having separate left/right/top/bottom configuration will confuse some people. Would you like to share why you were looking into customizable left/top/bottom/right gaps? 🌠 |
Hi, thank you for reacting. I mainly want to not lose window space height-wise. Currently the margin is applied on all 4 sides. |
It would be really nice if the Tiling Shell Gnome extension allowed users to customize the margins for Inner Gaps & Outer Gaps individually for each side (left, right, top, and bottom). Currently, the extension only supports setting a uniform value for all sides.
What I'd like is the ability to set specific values for each side individually, like this:
Inner Gaps
Outer Gaps
This would provide much more flexibility in configuring the layout to suit different screen setups and personal preferences. Because without this feature, it feels a bit restrictive to make the placement design of the windows.
