Hi,

Is there a way to change the theme used in Files tab for syntax highlighting? It is unreadable on any terminal with light background. The rest of the GUI is rendered nicely on a light terminal. It is just the opened file under Files and only on light background that is very pale and unreadable.

actually good point. this is currently controlled by syntect default theme. this should be possible to overwrite with a separate highlighting theme

It looks like syntect uses tmTheme files to change it's them. In my case I would like the colors from my terminal to be used for syntax highlighting. Here is the theme file from bat that does this - https://github.com/sharkdp/bat/blob/master/assets/themes/ansi.tmTheme. I there a way to allow gitui to accept a tmTheme file?

@Joe-Zer0 not yet. Could you make that a separate issue please?
