Critical Ecobee connection / pairing missing from page

Its not obvious, and none of the HA docs mention it at all, that we need to 'pair' the Ecobee and that can ONLY happen on the physical device. For those like myself who have never used HomeKit, the HS ecobee docs should that the device Must Be Paired or the HomeKit Integration will not see it. To make this work, you must be at the physical Ecobee device and enable HomeKit integration in the Setting. Otherwise people like myself will not know this since we are used to using 'normal' app (Amazon, Google, etc) which can all connected using the Ecobee's web UI. It would be nice to have a proper app integration via HA, like other apps do (Homeseer, Sense, Alexa, etc, etc)
