We should all agree what constitutes an "implementation" json-schema-org/json-schema-spec#1440 @jdesrosiers The definition of implementation won't be added to the spec, instead it will be added to the glossary.
Check on the progress of the stable release development @benjagm There are PR awaiting review.

Notes:

  • The team continued the discussion Discuss a recent blog proposal (PR 40) #483 on the blog post proposal and the related academic paper. They acknowledged the need to address the issues in the paper, even though the conversation tone is not ideal.
  • @benjagm will reply asking for clarification of the intent and benefits for Jason schema Community.
  • The team discussed Identify a list of critical interfaces that implementations should have and empower implementers with better resources #408 but to continue the discussion they will wait unit @Julian updates on the progress.
  • The teal discusses what constitutes an implementation #1440. They agreed on the difficulty of defining what constitutes an implementation and where to draw the line between implementation and tooling. The team agreed on including a question about the definition in the upcoming survey for implementers.
  • @gregsdennis shared the progress of the stable release development and mentioned that some PRs were waiting for @karenetheridge comments.
  • The team talked about the distinction between the core spec and core vocabulary, and the need for a discussion on whether applicators should be included in the core.
  • @benjagm discussed the readiness of the website and his plan to ensure all updates are included before launching it next Monday. He also requested assistance from @Relequestual to make necessary changes during the switch from the old site to the new one.
