I was working with file uploads and wondering how to sanitize images properly. A common way is to reencode the images to a clean new file, to prevent EXIF-pollution, malware, PHP shells, XSS..
I checked Jetstream as this also has the options of uploading avatars, but was not able to find anything that secures those uploads. Is there really no added security, or was I just unable to find it?
I was under the impression that using jetstream is a solid and secure starting point for fresh applications.
