Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

  • VS Code Version: 1.74.3
  • OS Version: Ubuntu 22.04

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Set a path alias on tsconfig.json, example:
    "paths": {
      "@app/styles/*": ["styles/*"],
      "@app/styles/*.module.scss": ["styles/*.module.scss"],
      }
  1. Import any .module.scss file, like this:
    import classes from "@app/styles/home.module.scss"

  2. Control click on the path.

Expected behaviour is for the home.module.scss file to open. Instead, it will open global.d.ts.

Works as expected on WebStorm, not on VSCode.
