Your idea

When clicking on a note or range, the information about the selection is shown in the bottom left corner of the window. It would be helpful if additional information like the dynamic(s) and performance information (muted, pizzicato, arco, etc.) are included in the data.

Problem to be solved

Currently the data includes start and stop information as well as pitch; depending upon if a range or note is selected. Including additional information will help facility managing large scores.

Adding more information. could crowd that area even more than it already is. Maybe that could be worth a redesign, or add a feature where you could change what gets displayed down there.

The current messaging in the status bar should probably undergo a thorough review (involving user research/testing) so we can properly consider what information is needed by those who rely on it. The suggestions made here can then be factored into this review.
