Neo-tree update breaks gruvbox.nvim colorscheme

Hi all, not a massive expert in lua/neovim development here. This isn't a neo-tree bug I think, rather a gruvbox colourscheme plugin that's been broken

Noticed that on neo-tree's commit a2f0245a509f1fc70c7af2c3e156305c55fd52cd, the gruvbox colourscheme no longer works at all. I've opened a bug there, but to be honest I don't know the intricacies of vim/neovim well enough to diagnose why these highlight updates broke another plugin.

I note that things like Lazyvim's tokyonight still work, so possibly there's something that could be improved on gruvbox.nvim's side. Any advice?
