Could we get a new release soon?

I realize it's been not much longer than a month since 0.15.2 but I'm eager to pick up #1678

Alternatively, I could ask for a pointer for how to apply a fix like that in a theme extension. I'm not quite sure how to extend layout.html but if there is a way I'd like to learn how.

Just want to add my vote! I love this theme and am using it via Jupyterbook. I'm very eager to get search highlights back.

We could do with a release soon-ish. However, I would like to get #1564 merged before a release (but could be persuaded otherwise).

Will leave it to the rest of the team to decide though/

Don't want to come off as pushy, but what's the status of this? #1564 was a big change, are you all working through follow-ups on that or testing more or something?
