Prerequisites

What theme are you using?

chakra-ui

What is your question?

Is someone already looking at supporting ChakraUI v3?
See https://www.chakra-ui.com/blog/01-chakra-v2-vs-v3-a-detailed-comparison

If not, I'm willing to have a go, tentatively :-)
My questions:

  1. Are there any guidelines regarding the package name? I'm looking at how fluent-ui and fluentui-rc were created
  2. Are there any specific document describing how to create a new package (theme) from scratch?

Thanks

@vanch3d Some folks have tried to look into this in #4389 but we have yet to see a pull request, so work may have stalled. You could try to reach out to them or create your own PR.

If you decide to start on this, you should base it on the rjsf-v6 branch and look to upgrade the existing Chakra UI project. We have no obligation to support older versions of Chakra in v6, so if your changes cannot be made backwards compatible, that is OK.
