The recommended way for users to consume configuration option documentation is via the GH pages site (https://rust-lang.github.io/rustfmt/) because this makes it easy for users to specify their current version of rustfmt and view version-specific config docs. (Refs #4178 and #4221).

It would be great if the rustfmt version could be specified so that we can provide version-specific documentation via links.

For example:
https://rust-lang.github.io/rustfmt?version=1.4.14
