socket.IO Testing

Hi Team,
I'm part of doing a socket.io testing team.
I tried POSTMAN for WebSocket events. It will get connected and can send messages. But not receiving response back.

So, I tried with Socket.IO Test Client chrome extension.
But it also didn't work for me.
Can anyone provide me support in this.

Also, would like to know the most recommended way for testing socket.io
