Processing empty file goes infinite

I am using filepulse 2.9.0 version and facing an issue while reading empty content file.

Connector will not be coming out processing this empty content file and skipping to read new files.

Message is "Scheduled files still being processed: 1. Skip filesystem listing while waiting for tasks completion"

Task is in infinite loop.

Any ideas how we can handle this?
