A new @alias directive?

I don't know, maybe it's just a fleeting idea. Could introduce an @alias, with which we could declare our own variant based on an existing variants. For example:

@alias light (not-dark);

<div class="bg-red-800 light:bg-red-200">...</div>

or

@alias hocus (hover, focus); /* hover or focus */

<!-- bg-red-200 hover:bg-red-500 focus:bg-red-500 -->
<input class="bg-red-200 hocus:bg-red-500">...</input>
