Syncing freetube data between devices

I am trying to sync freetube data between a windows device and a linux device (same pc, dual boot). I've tried copying over the files from AppData\FreeTube\ on windows to ~/.var/app/io.freetubeapp.FreeTube/config/FreeTube/ on linux. However no matter what I do to that directory, nothing in the FreeTube app on linux ever changes. If I subscribe to someone and then wipe that directory clean, nothing changes. So obviously this isn't the real data directory. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Sounds like you are checking the flatpak data location but not using the flatpak, you'll want to check ~/.config/FreeTube instead. Additionally please do not do anything with the files while FreeTube is running, close all FreeTube windows, wait until FreeTube has stopped running in your task manager (do not force stop it, if do you you will likely corrupt the database files) and then only move around the files that are listed here: https://docs.freetubeapp.io/usage/data-location/. All of the other files and folders in the data location are managed by Electron and probably not safe to copy between two completely different operating systems.

Thank you! I was using the flatpak version (otherwise the directory wouldn't have existed), but copying only those files while it was closed worked.
