How to make videos NOT to play automatically

Hello,

either I am totally misinterpreting the option that is supposed to keep videos from starting to play as soon as you open the subscribed channel, or this option is buggy.

Could someone please explain which options I need to set so that videos do not start playing?
I am using version 0.23.3 on flatpak. (Unfortunately, there's no native version for my distro.)

Is this version too outdated? If so, how can I update?

Hi you're not doing anything wrong. This was a player issue, see #6670

The fix will be included in 0.24.0
