This agenda gives visibility into discussion topics for the weekly Technical Developer Community (TDC) meetings. Sharing agenda items in advance allows people to plan to attend meetings where they have an interest in specific topics.

Whether attending or not, anyone can comment on this issue prior to the meeting to suggest topics or to add comments on planned topics or proposals.

• sync up changes to v3.2.0 schema definition to v3.2-dev branch #3400 will need attention before any 32. release, if anyone has the bandwidth to look at it
  • update this is fixed in Fixed by 3.2 schema: new fixed fields in Security Scheme Object #4394
• Repair Google Tag Manager #4403 to try to sort out the strange issues we saw on our traffic graphs
  • Note: merging this will refresh Update ReSpec-rendered specification versions #4412, which then needs to be merged into gh-pages

Follow-up to #4373 (comment)

We are currently blocked on

• publishing the latest fix to the 3.1 schemas from v3.1-dev - the necessary build tools are stuck on dev
• testing the latest changes to the 3.2 schemas in v3.2-dev - the necessary test tools and test fixtures are stuck on dev
• publishing a 3.1.2 or 3.2.0 spec release from main - we have conflicts with main that will make it very hard to create a vX.Y-rel branch that can be merged into main

These two PRs will allow propagating changes from main to dev and from dev to all vX.Y-dev branches in a semi-automated fashion by creating "propagation PRs":

• main: new workflow that syncs main to dev #4393
• main: new workflow that syncs dev to vX.Y-dev #4398

They need to be accompanied by a TSC decision that allows a single maintainer to merge the automatically generated "propagation PRs" without waiting for a second approver. We have a similar policy already for dependabot PRs and PRs that only change our build infrastructure.

We already got ourselves confused on which files to update in which branch and changed files in v3.1-dev that should have been changed in main and then propagated via dev to v3.1-dev. The resulting conflicts will be resolved by

• v3.1-dev: update from dev and resolve conflicts #4374

Improve check for changes to restricted files - exclude sync and release PRs

• main: check-restricted-files.yaml reports ok for intra-repo PRs that are allowed to change these files #4409

Note that the next couple of weeks has timezone changes coming, Europe changes its clocks this weekend making the meeting earlier for those people next week - you probably want to check all your other meeting appointments too, just saying.

Single review for the automatic sync workflows is agreed to be fine - these changes have all already been approved for this repo and we also discussed auto-merging these workflows in some dim and distant future when we're happy with how they work.
