Describe the bug

Blocks disappear if the user interacts with them in a particular way

To Reproduce

With multi-column XL, if you hold the drag handle and move it slightly so that it looks like this

You get the following error and the element disappears.

I think there may be some relation to #1435

As it seems to be a similar issue / aka dragging to a different editor but actually just dragging it theoretically "outside" current editor.
