While working on VEuPathDB/web-eda#1097, the read-only feature for the axis range might be necessary, thus it is implemented. Although we decided to use disabled instead of read-only, this may be useful for future use thus I made a draft PR.
Also a story file is made to test both read-only and disabled with the axis range: a screenshot is shown in the following:
