When scanning the VM image at https://github.com/SourceMation/el9-base-vmi/releases/download/b25066/el9-x86_64-base.qemu.qcow2 there are these compliant alerts displayed:
Screenshot 2025-02-12 at 10-20-37 ScanCode io QCOW

or in plain text:

Compliance alerts
Packages 172 Warning 67 Error
Resources 1,154 Error 1,034 Warning 14 Missing

The order of Warning and Errors is not the same for Packages and Resources.
Also what does "Missing" mean? this is not obvious and we should have a better to explain this on screen.

Hey, I am new to this repo am i supposed to upload this .qcow2 file as it is into a new project or am i supposed to unzip it or am i supposed to get the raw file and upload it. I am trying to reproduce the issue, had setup the local envo and its working fine. I'm not sure if im on the right path.

@jeraldin2003 You can instead just use the URL. Note that there are likely much smaller QCOW images that may exhibit the same issue

@ShailRT it's written in the documentation that any one can work and you don't have to ask.

I have made some changes regarding this issue; if you need to check them out, I just pushed a PR. If there are any other changes to be done, I think I can handle them.
