TODO:

  • demonstrate fan plots of typical forecasting behavior in each phase (increase/decrease/peak/steady)
    • demo "always decreasing" behavior? describe diagnosis (data bias)
  • future work
    • nowcasting and other revision anticipation
    • get error bars on evaluations with dataset "fuzzing"
  • histograms
    • commentary? what's the takeaway
    • do same for covid
  • maybe: visualize simply-whitened ILI data and plot its 2010-2020 flu data to get more context on current season
