Doesn't work on Linux Mint 22.1 running Arduino 1.18.19

Installed the plugin to the "tools" folder, restarted IDE, plugin shows up under Tools Menu, shows that it's uploading, but I'm unable to find it on the FS.  I can use the LittleFS library and create a new file, but the uploaded file is nowhere to be found.  I've tried uploading before the sketch and after.  I've ensured that I'm only erasing the sketch flash memory during upload.  Still no-go.
