Remove room from space via room list context menu

Next to favoriting, inviting, leaving, I also want to manage space membership through the context menu.

This is a request for the "other half" of #17028.

As far as I can tell, you can just hide that button in the context menu, if multiple spaces are selected

can you elaborate? right.

i'm thinking either

• remove room from this space becomes these spaces
• do the same as doing it via the "manage and explore rooms page" would
• implement the same kind of "add to remove from playlist" menu as I would like to add rooms to spaces by right clicking the room in the room list and choosing an existing or new space #17028
• hide it the same as you would on the all/catch all pseudo-spaces

I still think this is a reasonable place to expect this feature

Currently it is impossible to remove room from space, if server does not support showing space hierarchies.
Any temporary work-arounds aside from leaving and re-creating the space are welcome.

We will not be adding workarounds for a feature which Synapse has supported for months.

Does that means Element is a Synapse client and not a Matrix client?

Element is a Matrix client. Spaces is a Beta feature which massively depends on MSCs like matrix-org/matrix-spec-proposals#1772 and matrix-org/matrix-spec-proposals#2946 and others. If your server doesn't support them then you will be unable to make use of certain features. Writing workarounds for every permutation of missing MSC implementations on the server would slow down development by an order of magnitude and make the code way less maintainable.

It's now possible to add rooms via right-clicking the space, selecting "add rooms", and then selecting a room in the dropdown list. Could this be reconsidered? I reached to right-click a room to remove it lately, as I felt that was an "obvious" design pattern to me.
