Build fails on Linux/386 on Ubuntu 9.10 #19

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Follow the directions on http://golang.org/doc/install.html
2. Everything works up to the "Install Go" section
3. ./all.bash runs for a while then fails with two instances of 
"quietgcc: Command not found"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"N known bugs; 0 unexpected bugs"

What is your $GOOS?  $GOARCH?
GOOS=linux
GOARCH=386

Which revision are you sync'ed to?  (hg log -l 1)
