I've noticed this issue from time to time. I would be swiping either opening or closing the side menu and it would get stick in this middle position. Note, that this screenshot takes place after I have remove my finger from the screen after swiping. It should never stay still like this.

Hey, I just made some tweaks that alleviated this in my tests. Do you mind giving it a test in master and seeing if it's working better for you? Thanks!

Bah, I'm noticing a separate issue now. At any rate, I did fix one portion of this :)

Note to self: dragright and dragleft are buggy from the gesture system. This works fine if using drag for the side menu content, but this causes other issues.
