[bug] kubo version from windows tray icon

Describe the bug
If to check version of kubo from tray icon, the web link is broken, possibly due to "^" sign.

Thanks for submitting this issue @valen320, can confirm this is also an issue on other OS (specifically mac, most likely linux as well)
