Reinstall Save Snippets?

I had to reinstall Jupyter when my information was migrated to a new computer. Unfortunately, I hadn't downloaded all the snippets. Those I had not downloaded appear to have been overwritten. It would be nice to have user-created snippets saved in a user directory.
