Since OpenGitOps is principle-led, move principles toward the top of the web page. Additionally, move testimonials and founding members toward the bottom of the web page.

I like the idea of moving the principles to the top, but I don't think that should be lumped in with moving everything else around. If the pull request only was moving the principles, I think everyone would be on board.

I don't particularly mind the other move but I have a feeling that others might. But the founding members section is something that is being discussed now, so it might not be that big of a deal after that 😄

Thank you @roberthstrand; I appreciate your input!

This conversation about website layout might seem academic at best when there aren't that many people viewing the website.

I think and feel the user experience (UX) that I am proposing is reverse-chronological-order:
• Newer things are near the top, e.g., Upcoming Events
• Older things are near the bottom, e.g. Founding Members

The content of the newer or older things probably don't matter as much... I'm just trying to think about the look and feel, and reverse-chronology makes sense to me intuitively.

A casual viewer skimming the web site might lose interest after the Principles, or skip directly to the bottom via a finger swipe. A non-casual viewer might care more about events because of the fear of missing out (FOMO). Bots don't care. Who knows? 🙂

I agree, I just think that making so many changes in one go can be more difficult to get through. Anyone else having thoughts about this, @todaywasawesome @scottrigby @murillodigital ?

Hmm, my main issue is the design doesn't flow when the order is changed this way. There would probably need to be some additional design consideration to make it flow.

I think the founding members still need to be removed from the home page and move to the members page
