@dkhater-redhat: This pull request references Jira Issue OCPBUGS-53278, which is invalid:

  • release note text must be set and not match the template OR release note type must be set to "Release Note Not Required". For more information you can reference the OpenShift Bug Process.
  • expected Jira Issue OCPBUGS-53278 to depend on a bug targeting a version in 4.19.0 and in one of the following states: VERIFIED, RELEASE PENDING, CLOSED (ERRATA), CLOSED (CURRENT RELEASE), CLOSED (DONE), CLOSED (DONE-ERRATA), but no dependents were found

Comment /jira refresh to re-evaluate validity if changes to the Jira bug are made, or edit the title of this pull request to link to a different bug.

The bug has been updated to refer to the pull request using the external bug tracker.

it fails at TestOnClusterBuildRollsOutImageWithExtensionsInstalled
looks like its interefering with writing pod logs

could not write pod logs to /logs/artifacts/pod-logs/TestOnClusterBuildRollsOutImageWithExtensionsInstalled-machine-os-builder-d5484b59c-rfs5d-machine-os-builder.log: read tcp 10.130.178.229:47646->34.36.119.56:6443: read: connection reset by peer

holding off on the backport-risk-assesed label

@RishabhSaini this PR wont solve that failure. that failure is a result of missing tmp directives in ext and package installations, which in turn fails the ext build. this PR solves the container build problem that is associated with userxattr error. the pr/bug name is a misnomer
