The ring v0.16 was released four years ago. In the past few years, the Rust ecosystem has added support for new CPU architectures such as RISC-V and LoongArch. Upgrading these dependencies will enable this powerful project to work on more systems.

  • Upgrade jsonwebtoken to 9.
  • Upgrade ring to 0.17.

Thanks for putting this together! I likely will not get to looking at this until next week to determine what new version numbers need to be, but it overall looks good to me.

I've updated these in #101 which includes an update to pem as well.

I've released [email protected], and will follow up with the remaining libraries after we get them tested.
