This is a small helper script that someone uses to print all open issues to the console. Since it was easy to adapt I simply did it.
Possibly the script is no longer needed and could be deleted instead...? It was last updated in Feb 2015.
Anyway now it works with GitHub. Simply execute to try it out.
Since this is only an internal script no CHANGELOG entry is required.
