@adpi2 seems the DebugTests from #22597 are failing, any clue?
shouldn't this have been run on the PR? 🤔

@Gedochao thanks for the ping.

It seems that test_java8 job is skipped on PRs and so I did not see that it was failing. I will have a look and find a fix.

In the meantime, if this is delaying the cut-off/release, we can mute those tests.

As an important side note, the problem seems to be in the test infrastructure, not in the main code. Also it is contained in the expression compiler itself and does not affect the rest of the compiler. Meaning it seems totally safe to release as is.
