@blasten I am curious: how did you weigh up whether to merge or not? (given that stable does not support NNBD yet)

@creativecreatorormaybenot we decided that we won't publish new releases for a handful of plugins until the next stable release. In case of an emergency, we will branch the code, and push a release.
